InstaNatural Vitamin C Serum Review

It keeps getting later and later. I promise this is my last review today. Mom's tired.
Plus, I didn't chose to do the review in 3 separate pieces through the campaign or InstaNatural, I just noticed this, I hope it counts, I did my best, I am new, I made a mistake. So...
I am going to review this like normal and hope for the best. I have tried to put it out there best I can. 


My review today is for InstaNaturals Advanced Formula Vitamin C Serum for Ultimate Youth and Beauty. All opinions are my own, I got compensated with the product only, no shipping costs (last post), and I received no money. All I got was the product to try.

Here is a pic of the serum on my hand...yes, its really a buttery yellow color.


In the directions it says to wash and pat skin dry. Use toner first (if applicable). Dab a small amount of serum to your hands to apply to the face, neck, and surrounding area. Allow to dry. Can be used daily (morning & night) and under make up. Follow with a moisturizer.

I added this to my daily and nightly face routine. This is a 1 fl oz bottle with a dropper (or 30 ML) so it should last a long time. It only took about a nickel size, maybe a quarter for where I put it. I have sensitive skin, and I don't use a toner but I do use a moisturizer . I applied this every day and every night, then applied my moisturizer over it. I have been using this product about 2 weeks now. 

The consistency is like a serum, its more of a thick liquid. It has a pleasant smell and when I rubbed it in it WAS NOT STICKY. That is something I can't stand. I hate for my face/neck area to feel like the product didn't dry or didn't get rubbed in. This made my skin soft as I was applying, dried pretty quick, and worked great under my makeup. This is one of the first steps to your routine.

I have been using the product on my face and neck. Every night and day. I also put a moisturizer over top of it. It has made my skin tone glow more. I cant say it has lightened up any spots, but my skin has retained it's moisture, and my fine lines are less pronounced.

This seems like it works pretty good for me. I have been using it 2 weeks, and I cant take pictues of my own eye, so my honest review is important.

I don't know about you but $49.95 is a little pricey for me so at least amazons price is more in my budget. I love organic and natural but sometimes my budget doesn't allow for it. Thats why I love to review. 
If you are one of those who can afford it, I say "why not, go get your glow". I am going to keep using the product and hope the results keep getting better and better.

I have another review for you today. 

 First off, let me tell you that I noticed the hour that we lost. I heard on our news that our bodies will recover in a week. Most people wont even miss it because we, as a society, don't sleep a total of 8 hrs anyway, the Dr. said most people get 6 1/2. Amazing, right! I know I do not get that many, but I am somewhat of an insomniac anyway.

Anyway, on to the business at hand....

This review for InstaNatural Youth Express Eye Gel is entirely my own opinion. I have not been paid for my review or my opinion. I just got the product to review for free. 

I will tell you, I am picky about my blog reviews. First off, if you are charging me shipping then its NOT FREE. I can't do reviews where I have to put out one dime, that's not fair to the people. When I click on something that says FREE, I don't expect to have to get out my card to pay for shipping. 

I do HONEST reviews, and InstaNatural nor Tomoson has provided me with any money to do this review. Yes, even the shipping was free.

Now all this sounds really good, right? Well, its whats in the bottle that counts. After I had taken my evening shower and gotten myself through my night time routine I read the directions on the back of the InstaNatural Eye Gel bottle and went from there. Here are the directions for using the product per the back of the bottle...

Dab gently around the eyes, forehead and cheek area. Allow to dry. Use twice daily (morning and night) for best results. Can be applied to entire face to fight against the signs of aging. 

The caution on the bottle says external use only. Discontinue use if irritation or redness occurs. Avoid direct contact with eyes, if contact occurs, rise well with water. Keep out of reach of children. Product contains TREE NUTS. If you suspect an allergic reaction discontinue use and consult your doctor. 

Now, here is where I have a problem. As a mom with an older child who is highly allergic to tree nuts I am always reading the information on the bottle. I did not know, until really reading the label, that this product contains tree nuts. I think this should have more attention on the label. I would have read it good first of course but maybe someone else would not have. I don't want to have to say my child could have been blinded or died from an eye gel. The label does have a cute bunny in a box warning that this product is not tested on animals. A pet peeve of mine but in no way does this affect what the cream looked, felt like, and/or done to my face. 

OK, really that's the only part of this review that bugged me. 

Here is a picture of a dot of the creme on my hand. It's kinda hard to take a picture of your own eye all the time to track progress. My boyfriend thinks I am a crazy!


This is a dot of the InstaNatural Eye Gel on my hand. It came out not as thick as I thought gel would be. Which, I think is a good thing. When I read the directions on how to apply it, the gel itself went on nice an light. No greasy look or feeling to it at all. I used this gel on my eye area and the tops of my cheekbones. While it was drying it did not sting or burn, there was no real smell to it, and in no time I couldn't tell I had put it on there. I liked that. I have a sensitive face, especially around the eyes. I could not feel this gel one it was into my skin. It did not dry sticky either, which I think a lot of gel's have the tendency to do and I do not like, and is a BIG factor when I make a purchase (that's why I love to try before I buy).


You can see in the picture, where the glow is. That is where I put the InstaNatural Eye Gel for the pics in this review. Once it dried, it was like I never put it on. I have been using the InstaNatural Eye Creme for 2 weeks now, and I can't see a difference in dark spots, BUT I DO see less puffiness.  My eye area in general is more hydrated, my skin softer with no irritation for me at all. I am 42, and my face is not perfect. I am your average mom. 

Honest opinion, I think if I keep using the InstaNautral Eye Gel I will definitely see some noticeable results. I love that its natural and organic. It makes me feel good about putting it on my face. It's a really simple addition to my face routine and I have been using it twice a day like the bottle recommends. This bottle is going to last a long time. It just takes a couple little "dots" and your eye area is nice and moisturized.

My problem with my eye area? I have some blue circles, that really show when I am tired, and a few dark spots from that darn sun that I would love to fade. I am going to keep using this and see if we can do some work on that. I am going to keep using this InstaNatural Eye Gel. I think it's worth a shot.

I think its a great sale price (wow, at the reg. price) but I don't usually pay this much for an eye gel. I would have to think on the price some but I am a bargain hunter and I have never spent $20.00 on ONE item for my face. 
I know some of you do, and if you are those people, then give this a try. Its nice for sensitive skin, and I love anything that moisturizes and promises results.

Here is a picture of the InstaNatural Scar Gel on my arm. Its a golden color, very light, and it has a light smell but not of medicine. This is an organic scar gel, all natural.

My experience with this gel has been fairly decent. Scars are almost impossible to remove. This gel DID make my scars softer, although there isn't much difference in the color of the scar. I am going to continue to use the scar gel because I do think its doing "something" and I also think that it is going to take a little time to notice a real difference. 


Here the InstaNatural is covering my scar, once rubbed in, its very light, not sticky and no medicine smell. It takes a while to dry so it has to be rubbed in well. 


See how it comes out? It's almost clear and really thin. Instead of a creme feel, it stays on top of the skin like a serum. Its not thick like a gel either. I wanted to get the best picture to show you how it came out of the bottle. 

Honestly, I can say that my scars are softer. 
I can't say that my scars a lighter in color because I do not think I have used the product long enough to make the scar disappear.

The bottle says for external use only. Do not apply to stitches. Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs. If you are pregnant check with your doctor and keep this product out of the reach of children.

Now, this seems like a pretty good deal to me. I noticed a change, although not drastic, and the smell is pleasing. All in all, I will continue to use this product because I see potential but you can purchase and come to your own opinion, this is just MY PERSONAL OPINION.

WIP's & UFO's

Good morning! I have been up way before the sun. I just couldn't sleep in this morning, sleeping in for me is getting up by 7 a.m. I have had a few major things to do concerning the blog and this morning I decided to take the plunge and just do it and get it over with. 
Don't get me wrong, I love this blog. The reviews get a little overbearing sometimes. I got way involved too fast, and once I get caught up I will use this board for what it is intended and get myself another space to do my reviews. I know when I follow someone for crochet, I want to SEE crochet. So, I totally understand if you guys are super disappointed in the blog lately.

I do have some things going on though....

First is this Lion Brand Hometown in Cambridge Tweed. Its a chunky, black with bits of color thrown in. It's pretty thick but could be stretchy I think, more on that at the bottom....


Know what it is yet? In this picture I am folding. 


Here it is, my MASA bag. Its just being held together with a darning needle. If any of you have made a Masa bag before you know it takes a pin or 2 to get it held together to be able to line it up and get it seamed straight.


Here it is all folded and seamed up. It turned out so nice. The yarn is chunky and I crocheted it with a I hook so it made it tight. I think a bag without a liner has to have a tight stitch.
So the I-hook was my solution.
Its solid, and its a nice size. 

There isn't really a pattern for this bag. It is just a long rectangle, a ratio at 1:3. I made my bag 10 inches wide by 30 inches long. It has to be 3 times or it wont fold correctly. This bag only takes an evening or so depending on how fast you crochet or depending what you are going to do with it.

Now to my problem.

The last bag I made I put shoestrings in the handles to keep them from stretching. If you look at my very first few crochet posts my turquoise bag is there (it was my first completed project and I didnt know how to crochet then, I'm amazed I done it) and the way I done it is shown.

Well, this bag has about 3 inch strap. I do believe that once this yarn relaxes it is going to stretch. I have been thinking about making the strap double layer and do the string thing again, OR I can just make the regular masa strap and make an allowance for the stretching in the handles. I will just compensate and make it smaller, that way when it does stretch it will hit at the right place on the body. I like mine about my hip.

Any suggestions?

Ok, I have something else to show you. You know how you just know what kind of crocheter you are? Like, I like to make bags and household stuff. Some people love blankets, some do dolls. I make blankets too but not like I like to crochet little bits and one day projects. I like the satisfaction of having something done in a little time, without driving myself insane trying to finish. 

I love wreaths. I have always made them. Never crochet, though.
I went to my favorite crochet site...

and I found her spring wreath. I have been adoring her work since the very first time I found it. She is talented and her work is insanely gorgeous!

So, once I got to thinking about it, its a great stash buster project. I got out my crate of leftover lovies and got to work. 

Here is my inspiration, not from Attic 24, but cute all the same and within my time constraints and what I can crochet.



Here is some progress....


I love this little flower. Its crochet and then rolled up. So cute.


Here are some of my bits and pieces. The only thing I have left to do is put on all the buttons, make a flower or 2 and leaves. Everything is going to have a button in the middle. Not the clouds and sun but they will be held together by one. The leaves have no buttons either. I made the green for my grass yesterday and attached it to my wreath. 

I haven't made the bee's. I have an allergy to them. For real, and for fake. They can kill me, I am highly allergic but I STILL don't want to crochet them. Eww....creepy to me.



I did take rainbow yarn and make about an inch wide strip and attached
it so I could have some kind of rainbow :-) and a place to hang the wreath at the same time. At the moment, it is in pieces but as soon as I finish this post up I am going to get out my hook, my fingers are itching. Really, isn't that amazing how I have to do it?

I am NOT looking forward to attaching the buttons, but that is what is going to bring this wreath all together, I just know it and I have a quiet afternoon to do it in. 

I will update with a finish wreath soon!

I enjoyed sharing with you today. I love my crochet. I just love it. I am seriously thinking about a subscription box. Do you do one? There is one I am interested in, not Yarnbox but something more reasonable on the wallet and I wont have a huge stash of unused yarn lying around.

These panties are made of Nylon, Rayon and cotton.
The body of the panties are 100% Nylon
The lace is 78% Nylon & 22% Spandex
The pad 80% Rayon & 20% Polyester
The liner is 50% cotton & 50% Polyester

These panties are a medium but they come in all sizes for women and men. They are nice looking in the mens style too.

Omgosh, see the difference?

The panties themselves are totally different. The depends on the left have this diaper feel, a HUGE pad, and they feel like paper panties. Not comfortable, quiet, or fashionable.

The Wearever panties on the right are so pretty, fashionable and the size of the pad is a normal sized pad normally worn for leakage. 

Here are a few measurements of the Wearever panties....

4 inches across the smallest part of the pad.


This picture is the pad at the back and front, it's right at 5 inches.


The pad is about 10-11 inches long.
The pad itself is about 1/4 thick. Its thinner than the regular heavy flow pads that you can buy. I can't believe how thin this pad is. I don't think you could see the pad at all, and you cant see them under clothes!

Here are a few from the other leading product....


The pad across the smallest part  is about 5 inches BUT....


The pad is about 8 inches across in the back and feels like a diaper all they way around the panty. The pad is thick....like 1/2 inch. So bulky.
Plus the panties makes noise, cant be hidden and in general just isn't that attractive.


Here are the pretty incontinence panties from the front from Wearever. They are silky, and pretty, they look like normal ladies panties. The pad in these panties is thin. No bigger than a thin pad. The pad itself is sewn into the panties in a way that is almost invisible.


Here are the panties from the back. See how thin the pad is? You cant even see it.



I got the size medium and they run true to size.
